West Midlands Ambulance Services

The Second largest ambulance services in United Kingdom. They started their Ambulance service 40 years ago. Now they have state of the art Emergency Medical Services and Paramedica Training Course. Their response rate is to reach the desired destination within 8 minutes in 90% of the times. They have more than 1450 staff and handle 1200 emergency call per day. They also have global Positioning Services (GPS) and satellite tracking system.

The west midland ambulance services team visited Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune and started the Pre-hospital Course, now the Course is running successfully and regular guidance is given by the west midland ambulance services.

UK TRAINING

Subsequently a team of six doctors selected by Dr.Sanjay Vhora from Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune were sent to UK for training

USA TRAINING

DR Rajeshwari Vhora & Dr Anand Tiwari were sent to USA where they were trained in EMT -B & passed the NREMT Exams & became member of NAEMSE ( National Association of EMS Educator) in 2007 Present EMS course is designed with Experience from USA

About Us

The beginning of this project was in the year 1993 when there was a major disaster and earthquake at Khillari district, Latur. Lots of humanitarian aid came through Rotary club of Birmingham and Pune to establish a trauma center at Latur.
